Its 3.00am, the wind is howling and the rain is pouring; yet while the rest of the world is sleeping safely in their own beds, there are a few brave souls are out there making sure that the world is a safer place for us all. 

Police, fire and ambulance services in every major city of the world work around the clock to protect us and keep us safe, yet we only think of them in times of crisis. This site is a tribute to the thousands of ambulance officers and paramedics around the world who put their lives on the line for us, and who largely go unnoticed; except when we need them.

Our goals at Ambulance Site are simple, we aim to:

• Inform the general public about what ambulance services really do
• Showcase the premier ambulance services from around the world
• Provide interesting information for ambulance professionals
• Entertain everyone from the general public to seasonsed ambulance professionals with ancdotes from the field
• Plus much, much, more.

This site will grow organically with user submissions from ambulance lovers and professionals, so come back here often - if you dont you don't know what you may be missing out on!
